1:00pm - 2:30pm | Special Screening: Navigating Toward Our Futures

Te Marumaru Atua sets sail to Hawaii for Festival of the Pacific Arts 2024 (2 min, Cook Islands)
Hōkūle‘a: Finding the Language of the Navigator (40 min, Hawai‘i)

The screenings will be preceded by a special musical performance by Kawika Kahiapo, and followed by a conversation with waʻa families. Hosted by Lāiana and Ha‘aipo Kanoa-Wong, with:

Mānaiakalani: Archie and Kayla Kalepa
Kūmau: Duane and Micah DeSoto
Kānehūnāmoku: Bonnie and Lehia Kahape‘a-Tanner

3:30pm - 6:00pm | Special Screening: For My Father’s Kingdom

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Cheryl Hirasa (PIC), with:
